Explanation of notation method
METHOD:
a. The indentation indicates generations, which are
also numbered across the top of each table.
b. '=' The marriage relation is indicated with an = sign
c. The issues of the marriage are indented one generation.
d. So names indented one tab stop and aligned vertically
under an = symbol always indicate siblings.
e. Whenever a daughter changes her name in marriage her
surname is omitted since the maiden name is obvious.
f. Maiden names of women marrying into the family are
always listed.
g. (md) means marriage was dissolved.
h. CAPITAL BOLD ITALICS. More details under a family tree
of that name.
i. '*' A mini-biography exists.
j. Hyperlinks will take you to the next level down.
k. Since the whole tree starts from a Robert Buss, c1775,
he is generation zero. This scale continues from this same
point across all lower branches of the tree.
