CENTAURS

Were we really this wicked?

The Centaurs of Greek mythology were part human and part horse -

Wild creatures with a great fondness for wine and a reputation for carrying off helpless maidens.

They may have originated in stories about the wild horsemen of prehistoric Asia.

Never having seen men riding on the backs of wild animals, people were filled with awe and terror of these mounted invaders.
