But here you can hear what I was like when I was a preacher in Hull in the late 1970s.
Back in the United Kingdom, from 1966 to 1986, I worked in "the Lord's vineyard." In other words, I worked in the church as a pastor and preacher. I'll tell you more about that at another time.
Now, writing in 2022, I have spent more of my life outside "the vineyard" then ever I was in it. I've had a whole new life.
But looking back I find that my time as a preacher was quite signicant. And even though I no longer believe what I used to preach, I thought it might be interesting to hear what my preaching was like. So here are a couple of sermons that might interest you! I am stunned by the degree to whioh my accent has changed. I can barely believe that I spoke with such a correct, plummy, standard English voice!
