More exciting still perhaps, at the last [Old Centaurs] meeting on Tuesday, one of 'the lads' brought along and introduced a gentleman very much known to you and your class friends. He was your PT instructor, amongst other things, and spoke very warmly of yourself. Does a Mister Jim Lingard ring any bells?  

He produced many pictures of pupils around your year and some of yourself in particular. Remember how you used to 'throw' the smallest lad in the Gym display team from your shoulders into the arms of Mr. L' when the team dismounted from your shoulders??  He has it all on photographic record. He would dearly like to hear from you and I promised to pass on his very, very good wishes and also his address and telephone No. He is very keen indeed to make contact with you and wishes you and your family all the very best.
