FLEETWOOD PEDIGREE PUBLICATION

This section will contain the entire contents of the handwritten book of research on Fleetwood Pedigree by Frank Fleetwood Buss. Published during February 2006 this is the first time these pages have ever been seen by anyone for many years other than myself. There is a total of 115 pages in this volume, including press cuttings and images of varying quality.

A major source is, of course, the published Fleetwood Family Records by Robert Woodward Buss - a grandson of R.W. Buss the artist.. But woven into this record is material not included in Buss' work.

Right - Elizabeth Paul (ne้ Fleetwood) - the younger sister of Francis Fleetwood Buss' grandmother.

As a rule Frank uses and numbers only the right hand pages of his notebook, a method which allows him to go back over the work and insert other information on the left hand pages. Readers - be aware that left hand pages always refer to information on the facing right pages.

TRANSCRIPTION

When these pages are transcribed and posted on the Internet we will have a far more useful and searchable resource for Fleetwood researchers. Some folks have suggested this could be a shared task. Great! Please tell me which pages you would like to type up and have at it. Maybe 5, or 10 pages. You choose. And I'll keep a running tally right here. Mike Parker has started but he knows this is a huge job.
