HENRY CAVENDISH SCHOOL SPEECH DAY 1959

NOTE:  Derby Central School closed in the summer of 1958 after which remaining pupils
became some of the first pupils at the new Henry Cavendish School, Breadsall Hill Top.
This Speech Day, below, therefore was the time when 1958 boys received their 'O' level and 'A' level
certificates and other prizes. I am indebted to Roger Finney who preserved the actual programme
all these years. The layout and fonts are quite accurate.
