I'm attaching the photo taken by 'Adge Elsey, of the
final class group, taken on a bench in the park and it shows:BACK
ROW:
Barry Muir, Cyril Bennett, Peter Robert Cotes, George (Ron) Cooper,
Robert Barks, Roy Chambers, Vernon Parker, Ron Julians
FRONT ROW:
Clive Anthony Smith, George Morgan, Raymond Wilkins, Alan Wilson, Dennis
Fenton, Richard Clark and George 'Chuck' Charles.
The driveway from the School up to the Lodge was sited behind this
grouping and, you'll probably be able to make out the rather wonderful
rhododendron bushes at the back, which flowered profusely, adding to the
sense of beauty of the place. Coming from rather drab working class
residential areas it made you appreciate the "class" division and how
certain people must have lived. I think that the surroundings gave you a
certain appreciation of better things !
